Bassist, composer and improviser since 1994, he developed his playing through numerous experiences, concerts and recordings in diverse and varied registers: oriental music, reggae, ska, jazz, punk and other experimental music, first as an autodidact, then by passing a DEM in amplified contemporary music.

In 2014, his encounter with contact improvisation revolutionized his way of playing. He discovered the joy of accompanying dancers with music, equipped himself with loopers, and integrated percussion and other sound objects.

 

New projects are emerging: The 'iO One Bass Chauv' then the duo 'Loop, Trad & Emmaüs' in which he takes on the challenge of making a folk ball on the electric bass. He continues at the same time to put sounds on dance improvisations and in creations: 'Me Lieu' with Asaf Bachrach, 'SHOMMES XY' with the Chemins de La Danse company, sets the play 'Mon Ange' to music with the company 'Les Crayons'

These experiences are for him the opportunity to give free rein to his research on the game, but also on the techniques to be fully in connection with what is happening in his environment. His music becomes a journey that can take him to the Orient, Africa or Eastern Europe, all on deliberately rock sounds, where the melody sometimes willingly gives way to saturated dissonances...

He met Sara Jaleco in 2019 as part of dance and music research laboratories in Occitanie. He continues his research with her on the sensitive links between the body and sound vibrations within the TransHumAncia creative residencies (created in 2020).
